Biography

(Argentinean, American, b. 1941)

Liliana Porter was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has lived in New York since 1964. Porter enjoys working in many different mediums such as printmaking, painting, installations, photography, film, and video. Since 1991 she has been a professor at Queens College, City University of New York.
